I plan to stick my old roadbike on eBay this Thursday - unless someone is particularly keen to get in first! Details as follows:
ROAD BIKE: LEARSPORT 9000
Medium size (approx 53cm)
Late 2004. Complete except for pedals
Aluminium frame (Columbus tubing). Carbon forks and rear stays.
Shimano Dura-Ace, except Ultegra cranks. 9spd (with spare 105 cassette)
Ritchey stem and handlebars. Reversible BBB post. Shimano R500 wheels. Selle San Marco saddle
Sigma BC1600 computer.
I think it's in pretty good nick for its age, but there's obviously been a fair amount of wear 'n' tear on the componentry. So i don't know whether they have a lot of life left in them.
Price-wise, because of that uncertainty, Benjo puts it in a wide range: $500-1,000. You'd really have to judge yourself how everything felt.
But if anyone in the club/friend thereof really wants it, and thinks it's worth something in that range - call me on 0411 426639 to "talk turkey"!
