Welcome to the Northern Suburbs Triathlon Club Membership page.  

Membership Renewal
On 1st July your TA / NSTC Membership will automatically renew. If you would like to turn the auto renew OFF, click HERE>> and go to "Manage your Membership". You may need to log in. Once you are into your member area you can turn off your auto renew setting.

You may want to do this if you are using a new / different credit card, if you are a life member or if you are a technical official who has officiated at more than three events as the TA component of your membership is FREE (how's that as an incentive to become a TO??).

NSTC Membership will remain the same this season. $50 for adults and $20 for children. There will be a 5% charge added to the transaction at checkout. This includes a card processing fee and an Active Network fee.

Non-competing/non-training

Annual membership for those who will not compete in, or train for, triathlon or multisport events, but have a keen interest or involvement in the sport as a volunteer, spectator, and/or wish to receive regular updates and communication from National and State Associations. The association’s insurance policy does provide public liability and personal accident insurance cover if you are volunteering, or officiating at any club activity or sanctioned multisport event.

This type of membership does NOT provide you with Public Liability or Personal Accident Insurance whilst training for, or competing in events. Nor does it allow you to actively participate in club races or club training events.

Family Membership – TRI NSW

We offer a discount of 20% off annual membership for families of 4 or more individuals. The family discount only applies to the following groups, as a minimum;

- 2 Adult memberships and 2 Junior memberships, or

- 1 Adult membership and 3 Junior memberships

 

To receive this discount you will be asked to specify that you are joining as a family when you complete your membership. Please note that each adult within your family must have a unique email address.

 

Professional licence holders and Non-Competing / Non-Training members are not eligible for the 20% family discount.

IMPORTANT NOTES 

·        Annual membership expires on 30 June each year.

·        *Each membership application transaction will incur a 5% fee charged by our system technology provider Active Network. This 5% processing fee includes the fee associated with credit/debit card transaction charges as well as Active Network’s registration and software management costs.

·        Upon completing your membership, you will receive a unique membership number that you will keep for the duration of your membership.

·        All adult membership categories (for those 20yrs and over as of 31 December 2016,including standalone Coach memberships) are set to automatically renew annually on 1 July. You are able to opt out of this auto-renewal setting at any point by logging into your member portal and changing this setting.

·        We strongly support a club membership model and our annual membership fees are structured to reflect this. The cost of annual membership is lower for those individuals who are members of affiliated Triathlon clubs. The cost of club membership varies across clubs and is additional to the fees outlined above.

·        Please note that you must use a different email address for every adult individual registering.

·        You are able to use your membership confirmation email as proof of membership if you attend events before you have received your membership card. Membership packs take between 3-6 weeks to arrive in the post to your nominated postal address.

·        Joining multiple clubs.It is possible to join multiple clubs via our membership system. In order to do this, you need to first of all complete your membership to TA, your State and your first club option. Then you will need to go back into the membership system as though you are registering for a second time. Use the same email address and password to log in. The system will recognise that you already have paid for annual membership to TA so it will show as ‘$0’ cost and you will not be charged for this again. You can then choose the relevant State and second club from the drop down lists. This time it will show up with a cost for the second club’s annual membership. When you go through to the checkout page you will only be charged for the cost of membership to the second club. You will then be a member of both clubs.

Refund Policy

Triathlon Australia Membership fees once paid and processed, are not refundable other than in exceptional circumstances. Applications for refund must be made in writing to the relevant STTA Executive Officer, setting out the exceptional circumstances claimed. All applications will be considered by the Executive Officer on a case-by-case basis and the Executive Officer’s decision on each case will be final. General injury from triathlon training and racing is not considered exceptional circumstances. Refund of membership fees will incur an administrative fee of $20.00 (inclusive GST), which will be deducted before membership fees are refunded.
